Hello Marc,

you can use git-send-email's --reroll-count=2 / -v2 parameter to change
the subject line to "PATCH v2", to make clear that a previous variant
for this patch series was already discussed on the list. In that case it
is also good practice to give a short changelog what has changed between
the versions, either in your cover letter (if you use one), or in the
individual patches themselves, split from the commit message by an
additional "---" section. (You can either write that in your commit
message directly, or use `git-send-email --annotate` to annotate the
patches before sending, or use git-notes for the changelog and then
`git-send-email --notes` when sending, or... there are many workflows.)
