David reports this breaks his enclustra-sa2 and I observe also a hang on
Qemu Virt:

$ make multi_v7_defconfig
$ pytest --interactive
Using -bios device tree at 40000000
<hang>

Please drop from next, it's likely also what's breaking CI.
